Kerry S. Grant served as dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at the University at Buffalo. Moving frequently throughout his life sparked in him a keen interest in local history as a way to familiarize himself with each new community. Viewing Buffalo’s historic legacy within this context, he was impressed with the Pan-American Exposition and joined in UB's commitment to express its community affiliation through participation in the centennial of the Exposition.
A beautiful celebration of the light, color and architec¬ture of the 1901 Pan-American Exposition in Buffalo, New York. This oversized, coffee table book features two surprise pullout pages, one with a lovely watercolor rendition of the PanAm grounds, and the other a delightful night skyline of the PanAm that illustrates why Buffalo came to be known as the City of Light.
